Secondary and third level students will gain insights into careers in food science, research and nutrition at a series of one-day science fairs hosted by Teagasc, Smart Futures and SciFest.

TWO newly appointed food technologists will provide technical support primarily for artisan meat and dairy businesses, for two years.

THE appointment of two food technologists, who will based at the Teagasc research centres in Moorepark and Ashtown, was announced yesterday by Community, Rural and Gaeltacht Affairs Minister Éamon Ó Cuív.
