The great-grandson of one of the men at the forefront of the Easter Rising has led tributes to the revolutionaries who fought for Ireland’s independence.

The bereaved parents of an air corps cadet have been asked by Defence Minister Alan Shatter to set out the reasons why they believe their son’s death has been the subject of a cover-up.
