A Douglas man who was sent home from court for wearing short trousers which were deemed unsuitable for a court hearing returned yesterday in a navy suit complete with decorative handkerchief.

A 26-year-old Douglas man who appeared in Cork District Court today for sentencing on a charge of threatening behaving was told to come back with long trousers.
