Facebook’s instant messaging app, WhatsApp, is mulling a foray into digital payment services in India, its first such offering globally, and has advertised to hire a digital transactions lead in the country.

Facebook may have recently counted 1 billion unique users in a single day (which is pretty staggering when you think about it) but other services are also bringing in the numbers.

Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates is back on top of Forbes magazine’s list of the world’s richest people.

I DON’T know Brian Acton or Jan Koum, the founders of the $19 billion WhatsApp, so their success does not make me resentful — thankfully.
