The United Farmers Association is criticising the Agriculture Minister Simon Coveney for not doing enough to protect lower earning farmers under the reform of the Common Agricultural Policy.

Land will be abandoned in rural Ireland if proposed reforms to the EU Common Agricultural Policy do not get the go-ahead, according to the group United Farmers.
