Comedian Tim Vine dusted off his joke book and cleaned up at this year’s Edinburgh Fringe when his one-liner was voted the funniest wisecrack of the festival.

The organisers of this year's Forbidden Fruit festival have today announced the line-up for the Comedy Stage.

Comic Tim Vine was crowned king of the one-liners today after one of his gags was named the best joke of the Edinburgh Fringe.
