ONE of two Polish men viciously stabbed at the weekend died in hospital last night as a murder investigation got under way.

A murder inquiry was launched tonight after one of two Polish men injured in a vicious knife attack died.

Gardaí have today arrested a 19-year-old man in connection with the attack on a Polish national on Benbullben Road, Drimnagh last Saturday evening.

GARDAÍ believe a father of two brutally stabbed to death in a Dublin laneway was murdered after his 4x4 was blocked in by his attacker.

Two men are being sought in connection with last night's grenade attack on the southside of Dublin city.
