Jennifer Capriati has said she hopes she can hang on for another week at the Australian Open, despite her hip strain.

Wimbledon top-seed Martina Hingis, the Swiss Miss who has not won a Grand Slam title for more than two years, will meet Virginia Ruano-Pascual of Spain, in the opening round.
