The jury in the trial of a man and woman accused of murdering a taxi driver in Blanchardstown last year has heard that the man replied “I’m sorry” when arrested for the offence.

A drug addicted robber who gardaí described as "looking like a ghost" at the time of his arrest for four armed bank raids has been remanded in custody pending sentence at Dublin Circuit Criminal Court.
