The Court of Criminal Appeal has dismissed an appeal brought by a Stable-hand against his conviction for an assault that left a publican in a wheelchair.

A MAN was arrested yesterday in connection with a violent assault on a youth in Newbridge, Co Kildare, early yesterday.
