HUNDREDS of police and right-wing paramilitaries guarded the funeral yesterday of murdered South African white supremacist Eugene Terre’Blanche, his coffin draped in a neo-Nazi flag.

Men in camouflage with pistols at their waists and young girls in their Sunday best gathered in north-west South Africa today for the funeral of a white supremacist killed in what has been described as a wage dispute with two black farmworkers.

Followers of murdered South African Eugene Terreblanche have cast the white supremacist leader’s death as a rallying point for their cause, with one claiming his brutal death was “a declaration of war” by blacks against whites.
