More than 30 bodies recovered from a plane that crashed on a Thai island have not been unidentified because they were so badly burned, officials said today.

A plane carrying foreign tourists to one of Thailand's most popular resort islands crashed while landing in torrential rains today, killing at least 87 people and injuring 43, officials said.
