Jamie Oliver has vowed to keep his healthy food fight boiling in Los Angeles after his recipe for success curdled with schools chiefs.

Los Angeles education chiefs said today they withdrew permission for Jamie Oliver to film his healthy eating series in the city’s schools because they did not want to be involved in reality TV.

Two students were wounded today when a gun brought to a high school accidentally discharged, a Los Angeles Unified School District spokesman said.
