PERMIT me to ask some simple questions of the Government and its partisan Planning Appeals Board? Where is the validity to classify hazardous toxic waste incineration as “national strategic infrastructure” when:

SHOULD the interests of the banks be prioritised over those of taxpayers?

THE chairperson of CHASE, Mary O’Leary (Irish Examiner letters, November 18) correctly said that the job of John Ahern of Indaver Ireland is to sell incinerators and make huge profits for his overseas shareholders.

BEFORE any plans for incineration units are considered further, let us remind the Government of its role: competent administration, not imposition.
