An American militant accused of conspiring to help the al-Qaida terror network has been arrested in Malaysia.

Six people, including a former US army reservist, have been charged with trying to travel to Afghanistan to join forces with al-Qaida and the Taliban.

The FBI arrested six men today on charges they conspired to wage war on the United States and provide support to Osama bin Laden’s al-Qaida terror network.
