Accipiter, who missed the whole of the last jumps season with a leg injury, is set to return to action at Newbury in November.

Accipiter, trained by Toby Balding and ridden by Tom Best, has won the Martell Cognac Sefton Novices' Hurdle at Aintree today.

Conditional jockey Tom Best recorded the biggest win of his career on Toby Balding’s Accipiter in the £40,000 (€59,700) Cantor Odds Handicap Hurdle at Ascot.
