Up to 50 jobs are being lost in Tipperary, it was announced today.

Whiskey distilling is returning to Tullamore after a 60-year break, with the sod turned on a €35m distillery which will have the capacity to produce 1.5m cases per annum, reports Ray Ryan

Planning permission has been granted to develop a multi-million euro tourist attraction at the Tullamore Dew Heritage Centre, in Tullamore, Offaly.
