Broadcaster Ulster TV shook hands today on a £98.2m (€144.5m) offer for the owner of talkSPORT radio.

The owner of talkSPORT radio plans to broadcast the station’s commentaries and phone-ins live on television, it said today.

Last month’s Euro 2004 football tournament helped UK radio station talkSPORT chalk up an 87% increase in revenues, its owner said today.
