A family-run Co Cork butcher’s shop that has produced food fit for a queen was honoured for its exceptional contribution to Ireland’s reputation as a top food producing country.

GREATER legislative recognition of the country’s traditional and artisan methods of food production was demanded at an awards ceremony in Dublin yesterday.
