British rockers Kaiser Chiefs have cancelled a string of tour dates in Spain after a highly contageous virus spread among their travelling party.

Thunderstorms and torrential rain were today threatening to turn this year’s Glastonbury Festival into a wash-out.

Bloc party, the Bravery, Rodrigo Y Gabriela, The Tears and Super Furry Animals have been confirmed for the upcoming Oxegen music festival in Punchestown Racecourse, Naas.
