Education software company Riverdeep announced its second quarter results which showed that revenues increased to $41.3m (€47.8m) from $11.9m (€13.7m) in the same quarter for 2001.

DCC subsidiary, SerCom, a provider of supply chain management and e-business services, is to create up to 150 new jobs as part of a £7m investment in a new facility in Raheen, Co. Limerick.
