Ireland’s Lotto game sales fell by more than 10% last year, but they created 23 millionaires.

OVER half the population, 2.2 million people, played National Lottery games last year registering sales of €815.1 million, the second highest level ever.

THE National Lottery raised over €200 million last year for beneficiary projects, according to its latest annual report.

NATIONAL Lottery chiefs have insisted there is still a lot of love for lotto despite the first fall in profits since play began 16 years ago.
