Companies fuelling Ireland’s sex industry are being targeted in a hard-hitting campaign.

IT OPENED in a blaze of controversy and publicity, promising to offer ‘high class entertainment’, but just five months later, Peter Stringfellow’s Dublin lapdancing club has closed its doors because of a lack of trade.

Stringfellows in Dublin closed its doors for the final time this afternoon, after less than six months in business.

AN application by a company backed by London nightclub owner Peter Stringfellow to open a strip club in Dublin was adjourned until next Monday.
