Parishioners attending a picturesque Cork church have less than two weeks left to stop it becoming the first in the city to be forced to close due to a lack of vocations.

George O’Mahony, who has died at the age of 88, was a former company secretary of Cork Examiner Publications Ltd and a director of Thomas Crosbie and Co Ltd.
