America has suspended aid to the Serbia-Montenegro government because it is refusing to co-operate with the tribunal set up by the United Nations to deal with war crimes in the former Yugoslavia, the US State Department said today.

The search for UN-wanted war crime suspects General Ratko Mladic and Radovan Karadzic has failed to yield any results, but efforts to find them are continuing, Serbian officials said today.

Serbian police have arrested at least eight men they say are shown in a video killing a group of Bosnian Muslim prisoners from Srebrenica, a top Belgrade official said today.
