Aftershocks from two earthquakes that struck in the Irish Sea may be felt for days to come, it has been claimed.

Two earthquakes have been recorded in the Irish Sea causing tremors on land nearby.

The Irish National Seismic Network has said that further earth tremors are likely in the coming days in the Irish Sea and in North Wales after a magnitude 3.8 quake struck this morning.

THE first earthquake in the west of Ireland since records began occurred in north Clare earlier this week.
