THE taxpayer could well be stuck with the €1.4 million bill from the just completed High Court investigation into the alleged DCC/Fyffes insider trading case.

THE inspector investigating unlawful insider dealing by DCC and its former chief executive Jim Flavin relating to the sale of the DCC stake in Fyffes will present his final report in December.

LATER this week in the Four Courts, two of the biggest names in Irish business will square off against each other.
