A Hollywood actor is to pay tribute to one of Ireland’s trade union legends at a rally in Belfast this weekend because of a personal family connection.

Union leaders today laid a wreath at the Dublin graveside of union crusader Jim Larkin to mark the centenary of a famous Belfast strike that briefly straddled the sectarian divide.
