One fifth of young motorists tested in a new survey admit to driving under the influence of illegal drugs, such as cocaine, marijuana and ecstasy, every day.

A new survey for the RAC School of Motoring shows that many learner drivers are putting their faith in myths when it comes to preparing for their driving test.

More than 20% of Irish motorists are "an accident waiting to happen" because they drive too close to the car in front of them, according to the RAC School of Motoring.
