Building, supply, mortgage and insurance firms at fault for pyrite-damaged homes have until the end of September to come up with solutions to the €450m crisis.

Homeowners whose houses have been affected by pyrite will today outline their concerns to the Oireachtas environment committee.

A protest has taken place outside the offices of Homebond in Dublin calling on the insurer to pay pyrite damage compensation claims.
