The High Court has approved a survival scheme for electrical retailer Peats which reversed its decision to cease trading earlier this year.

Peat's World of Electronics has announced it's to re-open two of its Dublin stores.

The country's largest retail industry group Retail Excellence Ireland (REI) has today blamed the practice of upward-only rent reviews for the closure of Peats World of Electronics.

Seventy-five jobs are to go at the Dublin firm Peats World of Electronics, it has been announced.
