The Irish Postmasters Union has called for motor tax renewal services to be made available from post offices in a move designed to save money and boost local business.

With more and more people now taking a foreign holiday, the Passport Service has been inundated, receiving the highest number of passport applications in the history of the State on one day this month.

AN POST is selling sterling and US dollars at more than 200 post offices nationwide.
