Seventeen British people were injured when ice falling from a glacier hit their luxury sightseeing boat in the Arctic.

Ice that broke off a glacier hit a sightseeing ship with 72 people aboard off the Svalbard Islands in the Arctic, injuring 18, two seriously, police and the tour operator said today.
