Insurance firm FBD Holdings is confident of delivering earnings per share of between 155 cents and 165 cents per share, a 10% rise on its previous guidance, the firm has said in its interim management statement.

FBD insurance has indicated that its insurance premiums are unlikely to rise and motor premiums may even fall if current trends continue.

INSURANCE group FBD has said that it has maintained a solid trading performance during the second half of the year – including showing a profit, to date – despite challenging market conditions.
