Dublin Airport officials have made the decision to close the facility's runway until at least 11pm this evening following further heavy snow.

Dublin Airport this afternoon said flight operations had resumed after snow and ice crews worked for several hours to have the airfield ready.

Three people have been receiving hospital treatment after their car was hit by a bus in Dublin's Ballsbridge this morning.
