Pre-tax profits at the country’s largest nursing home group, where two indebted Nama developers transferred ownership of the firm to their wives, increased by 58% in 2011 to €2.5m.

THE country’s largest provider of private nursing home care for elderly people, Mowlam Healthcare, recorded a 17% increase in turnover to €30.2 million for 2010, according to figures released.
