INDIA flatly rejected yesterday a demand by the Albanian government for the return of the remains of Nobel laureate Mother Teresa, buried in the eastern city of Calcutta.

THE Pope yesterday approved a miracle attributed to Mother Teresa's intercession, paving the way for the nun who dedicated her life to the poor to be beatified and possibly made a saint.
