Three of the establishments in the Charlie Chawke pub empire had a bumper year in 2016.

One of the country’s best-known publicans, Charlie Chawke, said yesterday that Leinster’s winning run in the Heineken Cup last year helped his pub group achieve pre-tax profits of over €2m in 2012.
