NEARLY a quarter of all childbirth-related hysterectomy records could not be found by the Neary inquiry team and investigators believe these particular records were stolen deliberately.

The Medical Missionaries of Mary have issued a statement apologising to the women whose wombs were unnecessarily removed by Dr Michael Neary at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Drogheda, Co Louth.
