A coroner is to write to health chiefs after an inquest disclosed the failure of hospitals to transfer vital patient information concerning the deadly MRSA superbug.

A Dublin mother suffering from cancer who took her case to the High Court in a bid to obtain a hospital bed has been told that she will receive treatment from next Monday.
