Jobs Minister Richard Bruton says 2,000 jobs will be created through the State-funded ‘connector’ scheme, which rewards individuals for bringing foreign companies to Ireland.

A Laois man has received a finder’s fee of €75,000 from a state body after creating 50 jobs in his hometown of Portarlington.

Seventy five jobs are to be created across three multinational companies in Co Laois, Co Galway and Co Longford.
