RETAIL tycoon Philip Green could ditch his bid to take over Marks & Spencer if talks with the trustees of its pension fund fail, it was reported yesterday.

Retail tycoon Philip Green, who owns the Bhs, Top Shop and Dorothy Perkins retail chains in Britain, is expected to launch a bid for Marks and Spencer next week.
