Crescent College Comprehensive’s stranglehold over the Munster Senior Schoolgirls Cup continued after they routed Ursulines Thurles 5-1 in yesterday’s final at Villiers.

RÓISÍN UPTON’S whirlwind 12 months came to a fitting end at the Burlington Hotel on Saturday night, as she was named U18 Female Player of the Year at the sixth annual ESB Electric Ireland Irish Hockey Awards.

LIMERICK proved a happy hunting ground for Lurgan College once more as they claimed overall victory on a remarkable final day of the Kate Russell All-Ireland Schoolgirls Championships at Crescent College Comprehensive.

CRESCENT COLLEGE, Comprehensive, winners of the Coca-Cola Munster Schoolgirls Senior Hockey Cup for the first time this year, play host to the Kate Russell All-Ireland tournament tomorrow and Friday.
