Two families were united in grief as the first victim of the Malin Head drowning tragedy in Co Donegal was laid to rest.

A fisherman was rescued yesterday after a farmer heard his cry for help a half a mile out to sea.

Three fishermen have been rescued after their boat sank off the Donegal coast.
