PRE-TAX profits at the company that operates the UTV-owned Limerick Live 95 radio station last year dropped by 15% to €895,680.

UTV owners of Limerick Live 95 FM have successfully fought off a bid by a new Limerick consortium to acquire the licence the station held for 10 years.

A RECORD 4,000 women are expected to take part in the upcoming Irish Examiner-sponsored Limerick Women’s Mini-Marathon.
