A JUDGE said yesterday he would not jail a former Fianna Fáil TD for tax fraud because he had already suffered humiliation, disgrace and the loss of his political career.

EVIDENCE in the trial of a former Fianna Fáil TD accused of obtaining a tax clearance cert by false pretences concluded yesterday at Limerick Circuit Court and the jury will retire this morning.
