A Pakistani bank sued by the widow of an American reporter murdered by Islamic militants has denied any responsibility for the 2002 killing.

The British Islamic militant sentenced to death for masterminding the abduction and murder of US reporter Daniel Pearl today filed an appeal against his sentence, a defence lawyer said.
