A "passionate environmentalist" who caused damage totalling €3m in an arson attack on the Irish headquarters of the Jesuit Order has had his sentence adjourned.

A man was arrested today in connection with a fire at the Irish headquarters of the Jesuit Order, gardaí said.

Gardaí are investigating the possibility that yesterday's fire at the Jesuit Order's headquarters in Dublin was started intentionally.

The Jesuit Order has called on the Government to review immigration policy before reviewing the Constitution.
