British sugar-to-nuts company Napier Brown Foods today sweetened up its portfolio with the purchase of a cake-covering manufacturer for £18.5m (€27.3m).

GREENCORE yesterday announced it has sold its interest in James Budgett Sugars for €9.05 million.
