Tyrone's Sean Cavanagh has been named captain of the Ireland team to play Australia in a two-test series Down Under this October.

Leinster flanker Shane Jennings has been promoted to the starting side for Ireland to play Australia in Melbourne on Saturday.

Coach Michael Bradley has named the Ireland team to play the Barbarians in Kingsholm, Gloucester next Tuesday in their summer tour warm up game.
